Hi, I’m Sandy Stevener. Thank you for visiting my blog. You clicked on this tab to learn more about me, well it’s a strange story to be sure. Are you ready? Here we go…
My husband and I have four children and eight grandchildren, we are truly blessed.
I have many passions in my life. My Lord and Savior is first and foremost.
Next is my husband, children and grandchildren, followed by my involvement in
ministry, writing, crafts, and sewing.
Mystery and suspense stories are my reading and writing passion. I can't get
enough of it. I read, read, read and then I write, write, write.
We are also very involved in missions work in Central and South America.
That’s a great story too. After participating in a number of short-term mission
trips to Honduras, God called us into full time ministry. Missionaries, you
say? My thought exactly. My husband I can see, he’s an amazing believer and a
gifted teacher, but me? Only our God has the power to take a drug addict and
turn her into a missionary!
Our full-time missions work was short-lived but God is still using our
passion for the ministry and is doing great work through us here in Southaven,
Mississippi. We have the opportunity to take several mission trips each year
and each one is and adventure and a blessing. What an incredible adventure it
has been and continues to be.
Missions are our first priority, this is where God has called us
specifically, but He has also given me a passion for writing. He has graced me
with an extremely overactive imagination, which I try to put into print. In His
timing I will have the privilege of being published and you all can share in my
imaginary world. Until then I will continue to indulge my slightly twisted
imagination.
Thanks for visiting my blog, leave a comment if you can.
